| POLAHS offers all of the courses required for high school graduation and college enrollment. In addition, sixteen Advanced Placement (AP) courses including Biology, Spanish, and World History allow students to take a state-administered exam to earn college credits.
We augment our college preparatory program through a partnership with Los Angeles Harbor College. Students are invited to take three-unit UC/CSU transferable courses like Calculus and International Business on the POLAHS campus after the regular school day.
Our unique International Business and Maritime Studies curriculum provides students with invaluable real-world learning experiences. The curriculum is divided into mandatory and elective courses. All students are required to complete a minimum of four semester's worth of credit in the program prior to graduation. |
