Port of Los Angeles High School is located in the heart of San Pedro's port district, just off the new Harbor Boulevard Parkway. Overlooked by the distinctive Vincent Thomas Bridge, the POLAHS facility was created to integrate seamlessly into this developing district.
The school is part of a large 3.85 acre complex, which also includes the Port of Los Angeles administration offices, and the headquarters for the new Los Angeles Port Police and Homeland Security divisions.
The POLAHS campus was designed specifically to meet the needs of a modern high school. Our 36 classrooms and laboratories are dedicated to the subject being taught in terms of overall design, construction, advanced technology, and equipment. |
