The application process at POLAHS has changed.
All prospective 9th grade students need only to complete a Pre-enrollment Form to be eligible for admission in fall 2012. No other information will be requested until students are officially accepted. The Pre-enrollment Form must be submitted on or before Friday, February 10th at 4:00 pm.

The Port of Los Angeles High School is a California charter school. Admission is open to all residents of California. As a public school, we do not charge students tuition and do not discriminate based on ethnicity, national origin, gender, disability, religion, or political beliefs.

NEW for Fall 2012 Prospective Incoming Freshmen:
 
The application process at POLAHS has changed. All prospective 9th grade students need only to complete a Pre-enrollment Form to be eligible for admission. No other information will be requested until students are officially accepted. The Pre-enrollment Form must be submitted on or before Friday, February 10th at 4:00 pm. Prospective students will receive their lottery number at the time the Pre-enrollment Form is submitted.

A lottery may be conducted if the number of completed applications exceeds the openings available. Applicants not accepted at the time of the lottery will be placed on a wait-list according to their assigned lottery number and admitted pending openings. Subsequent applicants will be wait-listed on a first come, first serve basis.

POLAHS is no longer accepting applications for the 2011-2012 school year.
