The Port of Los Angeles High School (POLAHS) will host "College Night" this Thursday, April 30th from 5:00-7:00 pm in the multipurpose room. While the evening will be tailored toward sophomore and junior students, all students and parents are invited to attend. Counselors Lori Armas and Lucia Valdivia will focus on the college application process, including, course requirements, entrance exams, California systems of higher education and financial aid basics.
Nosh Café refreshments will be served.
The Port of Los Angeles High School (POLAHS) is a not-for-profit, tuition-free charter high school open to all residents of California. Since 2005, POLAHS has fused a college preparatory program with electives in International Business and Maritime Studies.
