The POLAHS Senior Internship course is an elective offered within in our International Business and Maritime Studies program. Twelfth graders are given the highly coveted opportunity to participate in professional work/learn internships during the spring semester. The real world experience allows our students to discover collegiate and professional pathways in areas that include science, technology, engineering, business, mathematics, and more.
Students in the course complete a minimum of seventy-five hours working alongside a mentor from the partnering organization. Students also demonstrate mastery of their particular area of work in a formal report and classroom presentation.
