POPS Mission: To support and encourage the education of POLAHS students through raising funds and providing volunteers for school programs and activities.
 
POPS General Membership: Membership is available to individuals and organizations supporting the mission of the POPS. The membership year begins on September 1 and ends on August 31. Annual dues for the 2012-2013 are $10 and may be paid at the first meeting.
 
Would you like to run for a POPS Board position? Nominate yourself by sending your name and a brief bio or resume to [email protected]. Self-nominations must be received prior to the meeting!
 
POPS Board: Officers include President; Vice President; Secretary, and Treasurer. There are three (3) additional members-at-large and up to five (5) alternate Board members. The POPS Board meets monthly throughout the school year.
 
The President | serves as chairperson of Board meetings, liaison with school officials, and ensures that members are adequately informed of POPS activities.

The Vice President | serves as chairperson when the President is absent.
The Secretary is responsible for taking minutes of meetings and maintaining written and electronic records of the POPS.

The Treasurer | is responsible for maintaining financial records of the organization and be the liaison with the school administration in all POPS financial matters. The treasurer shall make an annual financial report to the members.

Members-at-large | assist the Board with input at Board meetings, have voting privileges, assist the Board with duties as assigned, and support the POPS.
