The California Department of Education requires students to pass the CAHSEE in order to receive a high school diploma. If students do not pass the exam in grade ten, they may test again in grades eleven and twelve. Principal Tom Scotti credits POLAHS' diligent team of instructors and a constructive learning environment for the students' success.
