I was elected to serve as Vice President of the South Bay Executive Board this year, which oversees the operation of Red Cross Clubs in more than 10 schools in the South Bay (including POLAHS, South HS, North Torrance HS, Palos Verdes HS, Palos Verdes Peninsula HS, Torrance HS, Mira Costa HS, Bishop Montgomery HS, HTPA, West HS, and Redondo Beach Union HS)
As VP, I manage and oversee more than 200 youth volunteers in the aforementioned schools who provide preparedness, biomedical, military, and fundraising services and facilitate timely communication with youth to carry out the mission of the American Red Cross year-round.
Highlights from out meeting was training on leadership skills, relationship building and keynote speakers including Jarrett Barrios, CEO of the American Red Cross Los Angeles Region, one of the largest branches of the Red Cross in the world.”
